Order and Delivery Times
If the item(s) you wish to order through our online bookshop are in stock, they will be reserved for you immediately. In this case, the only delivery time to take into consideration will be the postage time (see 'Postage' below).
If the item(s) are not in stock, the order time will vary according to the supplier from whom they need to be ordered. For the vast majority of books, the order time will be between 1 day and 2 weeks. If a book is not available in this time frame, or at all, we will contact you by e-mail to let you know how long it will take or what your options are.
If you need a book that is not in stock in less than 2 weeks, or if you need to know exactly how long it will take before you confirm an order, please use the order form instead so that we can deal with your request personally.

Postage
Please note the postal delivery time is in addition to the time it will take us to order a book if it is out of stock (see above). There is no postal charge if you come into the bookshop to collect your books!

Gift Wrap
We can gift wrap items on request using our own OffTheShelf wrapping paper, which is of a neutral orange design. There is a 3.00 Frs charge for gift wrap added to orders made via our online bookshop. This charge includes a greetings card of an appropriate design (sorry, but we cannot accept requests for specific designs), on which we will write the personal message of your choice. Please remember to include this message when prompted during checkout, and to specify which of the books on the order should be wrapped. If you require more than one greetings card, you can purchase more by adding them to your shopping cart.
Website Security
When you find yourself on one of the secure web pages ('https://') of our online bookshop, you'll see a padlock symbol, often at the bottom of the browser window. This means that any information on that page will be sent using 128-bit high-encryption between your browser and our web server. 128-bit high encryption is a recognised way of encoding information so that it can be sent safely via the internet. Our website security is backed by the Comodo Group, one of the leading worldwide internet security specialists.
